Welcome to Fifth Sun, where beauty meets simplicity. Our story begins with a personal journey, a quest to redefine beauty from the inside out.
The Spark of Inspiration
Over 10 years ago I made some life changing decisions. I started to listen to my body and my soul, and nourished it with what it likes. I realised the importance of caring about what we put on our skin as much as caring about what we eat.
The Revelation
I discovered a disheartening truth. The beauty industry cared far less about health and transparency than I did. Even “clean” products were not clean. "Clean" and "natural" are hard to define and brands take advantage of this. I found harmful ingredients hidden inside in impossibly long ingredient lists making them hard to see or even pronounce.
I also had a revelation after seeing these long ingredient lists. When you add up all the products you use, and all the ingredients in each one…it amasses to hundreds of ingredients being absorbed into our skin and bodies every day.
Yet when you walk down the supermarket aisle and see items with long ingredients lists, you know they aren't good for you.
The Birth of Simplicity
I envisioned beauty stripped down to the essentials - products with 5 ingredients or less.
Simplicity in beauty was born. Less irritation and overwhelm to the skin. No more deciphering complex labels. Just pure, concentrated goodness that our skin and health craves.
